Rightside Radio was founded by former State Senator Phil Williams to provide relevant, timely, and engaging insights on the news of the day. In October 2025, Williams, an attorney by trade, was nom​inated by President Donald Trump to serve as the US Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama, so a changing of the guard was necessary for Rightside Radio.

Beginning in the first week of November 2025, experienced conservative radio personalities Allison Sinclair and Amie Beth Shaver assumed the show's hosting duties, along with Rightside’s Justin “JP” Plott. Sinclair and Shaver had previously co-hosted the highly regarded “Alabama Unfiltered” broadcast in the Montgomery market.

With keen, incisive, and often humorous abilities to examine world events at the local, state, and national levels, both women were top-ranked show hosts in their previous markets. Rightside Media, under their leadership will continue to grow its various mediums via radio, podcasting, social media and the written word.
